Correspondence and other material pertaining to the establishment and operation of the Arizona Times, a Phoenix newspaper published by Anna Roosevelt and her husband, John Boettiger, from June, 1946 to Oct. 5, 1949. Includes letters between the Boettigers and managing editor Brinegar; photograph of the Times staff; autographed first issue of the Arizona Times; an account of a press conference held by President F.D. Roosevelt in June, 1941; and two addresses given by Brinegar in 1947, one on the Times and his war experiences and one on journalism and the newspaper business.
